Guacamole
This is our recipe for guacamole, refined over many years. It's always a hit. You may want to adjust the amount of Tabasco, garlic and salsa to suit your tastes.
Ingredients
- 5 ripe avocados
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
- 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 4 green onions, diced
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 3 Tbsp. medium fresh salsa
- 3 large cloves garlic, minced or pressed
- 1/2 to 1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
Directions
- Scoop avocado flesh into a large bowl.
- Add lime juice and mash well
- Add all other ingredients and stir well.
- Refrigerage for 1 hour or more.
- Serve with corn and potato chips.
