Our Hikes

We are lucky to live in an area which offers many opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking and snowshoeing. And we get to hike with a fine group of friends ( 2002 Hike Calendar ).

Here are some of our favorites.

6/8/02 - Had a great hike today, to see some petroglyphs near Fordyce Creek. Some pics:

• Lots of monkeyflowers beside a lively little waterfall
• A little nap after lunch, on a petroglyph rock - Kari and Jim

We also love hiking in the Southwest, in the canyons. Here are a few pictures from our most recent trip, 10/01, to Arizona and southern Utah. Amazing canyons, great hiking, few people. These areas are all in southern Utah.
